I have a confession: Adi and I daydream about living in the South. Yes, we live in South Florida, but I’m talking about the real South. The “you butter my biscuit“, chickens in my backyard, and cornfields everywhere, south. We love big cities and Lord knows I love my beach, but there’s this dream we have of packing up our bags and finding a charming little cottage where we can go on magnolia walks in the morning and drink afternoon sweet on our front porch. Ahhh… just typing that makes me happy. Also, the southern folks are the nicest around and their sweet accent has me all howdy, y’all! You just can’t imagine how excited I am to share this southern charm of a wedding today.
Angali & Scott were married at The Farmhouse Inn, under the most perfect oak tree at sunset, with lanterns hanging from the branches. There were roosters and hens roaming the grounds and over 100 acres of fruit and vegetable trees, and perfectly manicured lawns. Their day was perfect from start to finish, with every detail so meticulously planned out and created by the beautiful Angali, herself. Not only is this couple the sweetest around, but their love was such a joy to capture. I adored them, their family, and that adorable red barn so very much. Hey red barn, can I just take you with me to every wedding?
Those shoes! I mean… !!!
Angali made such a gorgeous bride! And I absolutely loved that she set aside some time for portraits in a beautiful setting of just her after getting ready. I can’t emphasize enough how important that is for a bride!
Their first look was so adorable… just like them. And the photo right after of the wind blowing her veil across their faces? One of my favorites.
Meet Coley, their “pride and joy”. This guy had his own bowtie and was the sweetest dog ever. He is so loved and means the world to Angali & Scott, and I was happy to capture a sweet family portrait for them.
Meet me under the oak tree…
Every sign, every detail, and every lantern was either hand made or selected by Angali. She has quite the eye and is extremely talented, not to mention, a complete sweet, beautiful soul. She truly created a magical day.
The most perfect setting to get married in. I adore this photo.
After the wedding, we took a few moments for sunset photos. That light embraced them with all it’s glorious might.
It’s all in the details! I loved that Angali hung photos of her and Scott’s parents, grandparents, and great grandparents around the tent—such a unique yet personal detail.
You all know how much I adore details… but what I REALLY love is a good desert table.
Their sparkler exit was the perfect ending to their perfect day.
