I first met this incredible couple via email through the wonderfully talented Eileen of Beauty in the Making, who designed and planned their entire wedding. Their wedding was my last wedding of 2014 and it couldn’t have been a more perfect way to conclude such a blessed year. The day took place at Mitzi & Jonathan’s pastor’s beautiful home and along with their nearest and dearest, they celebrated their union under a floral arbor in soft tones of peach, ivory, and blush. One of my favorite moments from their day was when they joined to take communion in a private moment shared just between the two of them. I may sound like I’m pregnant (I’m not) but surprise, surprise—I cried through the entire thing. I’m so thankful to have a camera to hide behind because stuff like that? They get to me, man. It was so beautiful to witness and I was honored to be photographing a young couple who evidently love each other and the Lord so deeply. Mitzi & Jonathan, thank you for the privilege of documenting your storybook love and that one day where your two hearts joined together as one.
Mitzi, you are flawless…. inside and out. I’m so thankful for our new friendship.
It was an unusually colder day for Florida, so this sitting area for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores was the perfect touch.
Eileen and her team transformed this backyard into stuff that dreams are made of.
So thankful to have captured this sweet, candid moment between the groom and his new mother-in-law in the midst of the chaos that is family portraits. ;)
Something about a classic, vintage car at sunset that I just can’t pass up.
Jonathan looking every bit the handsome new husband that he is.
