I’m so excited to share these photos with you all! Not only are they near and dear to my heart, but they are some of my favorite maternity photos to date. Prior to becoming a mother, I have to admit that I felt maternity photos were… well, a little awkward. Partially because I had no idea what it felt like to carry a child and partially because WHAT do I do with the hands?! You know… other than place them on the belly? I literally had anxiety over the hand placement, you guys. Since having children and going through pregnancy twice now, I’ve come to really appreciate what our bodies can do, how incredible that experience is, and the beauty behind this time in a woman’s life. In short, I’m a maternity photoshoot convert. I just love them—especially ones that include stunning gardens, an ethereal dress, and a woman like Persida, who is basically a pregnant model (don’t you just hate it when that happens? ugh. Just kidding Pers, I love you.). Anyhow, I hope you enjoy these pretties as much as I do. Happy Friday!
You know the glowing thing with pregnant women? Well, she literally was.
You may remember these two from an anniversary session I did for them a few years ago. While a little something has changed, they’re still as in love as ever.
Sunset at the Vizcaya is breathtaking.
