This beautiful bride & groom had the sweetest, most intimate wedding ceremony at Bill Baggs Cape State Park while overlooking that incredible S. Florida Atlantic Ocean of ours. Goodness, do I love that place. Between the magical light, soft breeze, and sounds of the waves gently crashing against the rocks as they said their vows to one another, it was truly the loveliest of days. I absolutely adore these two and though I love a big bash of a wedding just as much as the next person, I really fell in love with the stillness and intimacy of a small wedding. It just doesn’t get any better than being surrounded by those you love most in this world, a deep blue sea, and a sky that seemed painted especially for you and your love. Alex & Rebecca, thank you for reminding me of the beauty of love and it’s true foundation, for showing me such kindness, and mostly, for trusting me with such beautiful moments. I wish you both a marriage filled with joy, painted skies, and calm, happy seas.
Rebecca & Alex chose to get ready in their downtown Brickell apartment in seperate rooms. I have to say, the anticipation of knowing that both were getting ready for their wedding while separated by only a door and a few walls was quite thrilling!
Once Alex finished getting ready, he made his way down to the car and we made our way over to their balcony for some gorgeous portraits overlooking that amazing city of Miami.
A classic portrait of the bride and groom.
As we walked over to the ceremony site, we spotted a patch of unbelievable light and took full advantage of it.
Oh, Rebecca, you are radiantly beautiful.
I adored the details in Rebecca’s dress… especially that back!
Isn’t this the most beautiful spot for an intimate wedding? It was so simple and so perfect, allowing that background to take center stage.
That moment of walking out together as husband and wife is just pure bliss.
After finishing family photos, we took advantage of the remaining moments with the sun and captured a few final portraits…
My favorite of this beautiful bride in a dress that was made for her:
