Hi all! I’m still alive and kicking if anyone’s wondering. If not, well alright then… I really don’t blame you. ;) I know I haven’t shared a wedding in a while and trust me, I have SO many to share it’s honestly overwhelming, but I thought today was as good as any to start, yes? Yes. This lovely wedding is a recent that Adi and I photographed at the lovely Ancient Spanish Monastery and it was our first traditional Bulgarian Orthodox wedding. One of my favorite things about what I do is getting to witness different cultures and traditions and this particular wedding was filled with them! It was one of those weddings where everything just sort of clicked… Svitalana and Borris are just about the kindest, sweetest couple EVER and clearly, the weather was on their side with perfect temperatures, just the right about of wind, and well, you know me and that glorious sunlight. Plus, you guys, Bulgarians know how to party and their music reminded us so much of Romania, it felt strangely homey and nostalgic. Love, love, loved their day! See below for some of my favorites.
Svitlana’s Lazaro dress was so ethereal and romantic and absolutely perfect on her.
Svitlana and Borris live in New York, which is currently covered in white, so this 70 degree weather + sunshine was heavenly for them. Spanish Monastery, you are pure magic.
This girl. Such a classic beauty…
